Ingredients

7 oz. chow mein (egg noodles)

5 oz. chicken breast, boneless, skinless

3 oz. carrot

3 dried Chinese mushrooms

3 oz. Napa cabbage

1 tsp oyster sauce
-
1/2 tbsp soy sauuce

1 tsp sugar
-
2 green onions/coriander
-
Canola oil for frying

Marinade:
-
1 tbsp light soy sauce
-
1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine

1 tsp cornstarch

1/5 tsp salt

Slice meat into strips, mix with marinade and set for 20 minutes for subgum chicken chow mein recipe. -

Soften mushroom with hot water, squeeze out excess water and slice into thin strips with carrot. -

Heat a sauté pan to hot over medium heat with oil, add carrot, cabbage and mushroom, fry until tender. -

Reheat wok to hot over low heat, add oil and combine meat pieces, fry until color changed. Add vegetables. -

Stir in oyster sauce, soy sauce and sugar, well mix. Combine noodles and whisk around with chopsticks. -

Garnish subgum chicken chow mein with green onions or coriander; make a taste test before serving.
